Insulin Shock Therapy:	Use of a high dose of insulin to put a person in a state of diabetic-like hypoglycemic shock. This was done to John Nash, the subject of the film "A Beautiful Mind," for instance.

The Frontal Lobotomy:	Use of an ice pick inserted through the eye socket to cut apart the brain. (Disconnecting the frontal lobe.)

Coldpacks:	Wrapping a person in freezing cold blankets until his/her body temperature fell by 10 to 20 degrees.
